The latest installment of "American Horror Story" is almost back.
The new season of the horror anthology series, titled "American Horror Story: Delicate," will be the 12th chapter of the award-winning show created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, according to FX's website.
The season takes inspiration from the upcoming Danielle Valentine novel "Delicate Condition," according to The Hollywood Reporter, which follows the horrifying pregnancy journey of an indie actress.
"It is essentially a horror novel about pregnancy," Valentine told Entertainment Weekly in an interview. "It's a novel exploring not just the actual physical gruesomeness of what pregnancy is, but also the medical gaslighting that even modern, very privileged women experience as they're going through their pregnancies and the symptoms that I feel we as a culture still don't talk about for strange reasons."
