Orlando Bloom's love for his teen is in full bloom.
The Pirates of the Caribbean star enjoyed an outing with his 13-year-old son Flynn—whom he coparents with ex Miranda Kerr—as the duo took in the sight of some classic cars.
Orlando shared several photos from the day to his Instagram Aug. 20, captioning the images, "At Monterey Car Week with my boy."
In the pics, father and son could be seen with their backs to camera as they took in a classic Porsche, while the 47-year-old also posed with several of the cars.
And fans were delighted by the chance to see how much Flynn has grown.
"He's nearly as tall as you orlando!" one fan commented. Another added, "So sweet to see father and son together."
And while the duo clearly share a passion for automobiles, they don't always agree when it comes to some of the more death-defying stunts Orlando has partaken in—especially when it came to his Peacock series Orlando Bloom: To The Edge.
"My son came out to the jump site on the wingsuit episode," he recalled of filming the new series to E! News in April. "And he was like, 'Dad, you're crazy. No way.'"
He continued, "He doesn't have the same clock ticking, which I respect as well because he takes calculated risks. And I think that's something at a young age I admire."
But Orlando's 3-year-old daughter Daisy—whom he shares with fiancée Katy Perry—is a totally different story.
"I see a little of the screw loose qualities," Orlando joked. "I remember her climbing stairs and thinking, 'Wow, she's preparing for something.' Because as soon as she could walk, she learns to climb."
As for Katy, she is incredibly thankful about having had a firsthand look at Orlando's relationship with Flynn, as it influenced her own journey to motherhood.
"I did a lot of work behind that stuck feeling of not being maternal, although I was very maternal with all of my friends," she explained on the Dear Chelsea podcast in 2022. "I mean, my fans and my friends, they all called me mom, because I love to take care of people. I find joy through other people's joy. Like, if they're having a great time, I'm having a great time. But still, there was a little bit of a disconnect."
But it was seeing Orlando with Flynn that made her realize she was interested in having a baby.
"I did go on that journey and found the little spots that needed some tuning up," Katy added. "I got to see what a great dad he was with his first child."
